When you download, subscribe to, and use the Application, we may collect the following types of information: a) Automatically Collected Information • Device Internet Protocol (IP) address • Device information (model, operating system, version) • Log information (pages visited, session duration, crash logs, time and date of use) • Network information (Wi-Fi or mobile data usage, connectivity status) b) Permissions and Sensitive Data Access To provide the full functionality of the Application, we request the following permissions: • Camera → For capturing images or video within the app • Location (fine and coarse) → For compliance, navigation, and service-related features • Storage & Media Access → To allow file uploads, image sharing, and project-related document access • Gallery Access → To let users select and upload files and images • Internet & Network State → For API calls, syncing, and online services • Background Services → To ensure continuous service, background sync, and alerts • Notifications → To send you updates, alerts, and important reminders • Boot Permissions → To restart necessary services after your device reboots • Wake Lock → To keep your device active during critical tasks (e.g., file uploads, live sessions) We do not collect precise location data unless explicitly required for a service feature and consented to by you.
The information we collect is used to: • Provide, maintain, and improve the Application's functionality • Enable features such as file upload, document management, and compliance services • Contact you with important updates, security notices, or promotional material • Personalize the user experience and improve service reliability • Ensure background services (sync, notifications, alerts) operate as intended
The Application may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you. These services have their own privacy policies. For example: Google Play Services. The Service Provider is not responsible for third-party data handling outside of what is required to provide the Application.
We may share information in the following circumstances: • Legal compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or enforceable governmental requests • Protection: When necessary to protect rights, safety, or investigate fraud • Service providers: With trusted partners who process data on our behalf, bound by confidentiality obligations
You may stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application. Standard uninstall processes are available on your device or marketplace.
User-provided data is retained for as long as you maintain an account or subscription and for a reasonable period thereafter. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at hello@shivik.in. Requests will be processed within a reasonable time.
The Application is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately. Parents/guardians who believe their child has provided information should contact us at hello@shivik.in.
We use physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality of your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Any updates will be posted within the Application or on www.shivik.in. Continued use of the Application after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
